Supervised Penalized Canonical Correlation Analysis

Canonical correlation analysis (CCA) is used to analyze data sets with paired data, e.g. measurements of gene expression and metabolomic intensities of the same samples.

The Supervised Penalized Canonical Correlation Analysis (spCCA) generalizes this analysis to take the experimental design into account. This facilitates the interpretation of the measurement to explain the underlying processes with regard to the experimental question.
